The Heavy Duty Filter is an alternative filtration system that works with the K-9 dryer/blower line. This large paper filter has been reported to cut down on noise level from the dryer.
IMPORTANT NOTE
This HDF filter helps cut down on noise, but the micron filter size is much smaller (than foam filters), which restricts more air. This means that less air flows through the motors, and thus, the motors will run hotter. The exit air temp can be 5-6 degrees warmer, which may result in shorting their life, but will also help speed up drying time. HDF requires maintenance (just like foam filters), but it should be less often due to the increased surface size.
