I purchased these combs to help with the parting process when braiding my daughters hair. The wide opening at the top helped part the hair more easily in between braids.Work as expectedNot very durable at all. They snap so easily. Cheaply made. With this comb, it does what needs to be done. However, it's not for every hair type. For example, if you have really thick hair, I wouldn't recommend bc the teeth break easily. However, for softer, thinner hair, it may work perfectly. My pack came with 3, I'm on cong number 3 now. 1st come broke when braiding my hair, 2nd when braiding my daughter's. The rat tail and the big tooth for parting is the most durable.Using one of these to part (NON TANGLED) hair and the tail just fell off! No tension or pressure was used, it just simply separated from the comb.
